It was a successful, entertaining, fun-filled St. Matthews/Lyndon Toastmaters Club International Speech Contest Thursday night February 27 at Brescia Hall on the Ursuline Campus in Louisville. It proved once again why we are “The Greatest Toastmasters Club in The World!”
Maggie now advances to Toastmasters Area 65 competition in the near future (TBA).
We had five terrific speakers with great messages and the LARGEST CROWD at this event in 10 years! Thanks to all for a successful event.

Enrolled in a Civics 101 class this week and last. I’m on jury duty for the first time in my life. I’ve met many interesting people and have new found respect for the wheels of justice. It’s highly recommended for everybody.
I was awarded second place in the Division F finals of the Humorous Speech Contest in Toastmasters District 11 last Saturday, October 5. Congratulations to Christopher Kokoski! He now moves on to the District 11 finals in Evansville.
If you have seven minutes, please give a listen and let me know what you think. Onward!
